Major Steve McQueen fan Brian Mayfield just picked up his 2006 model Triumph Bonneville Scrambler,
a direct homage to the TR6C which Steve rode at the 1964 International
Six Day Trials. Steve's ISDT racing plates (#278) come optional with the bike, and naturally Brian got them as well.

Well took her out to all the Harley hangouts...wow what a reaction, most didn't even know
Triumph was alive and well. Great bike. Steve would be proud. I took her thru some dirt and some serious sand
areas, she plows in soft sand but I was rather happy off road. I raced several years Motocross and a few as
Vintage, so it really holds its own. In the local canyons it's a total blast.
EVERY McQueen fan should get one
even if you just put it in your Den....its that cool.
