After his early string of Healeys and MGs, McQueen bought this Siata 208S not long
after he and wife Neile moved to California in 1957. Resembling a 7/8th scale Shelby Cobra, the Siata was
built in Italy, and uses a 2.0-liter Fiat 8V engine, so named by the company because the Italians thought
Henry Ford held the rights to the term “V8” at the time. McQueen sold it after owning it about a year.
Originally silver, the Siata was restored to a high level and now living in Carmel Valley, California.
