A 16 gauge Parker Brothers DHE grade double barrel boxlock shotgun

Serial no. 206347, 16 gauge. 32 inch barrels with concave, matte rib inscribed Parker Bros. Makers. Meriden, CT. U.S.A. Titanic Steel.
Two ivory beads. Casehardened No. 1 action engraved with scrollwork, borders, Parker Bros in riband and with three panels scenes:
left side, pointer; right side, setter; floorplate, four cock pheasants. Double triggers. Ejectors. Checkered pistolgrip stock and fore-end.
Drop points. Pistolgrip with German silver cap engraved JD. Belly with vacant, oval silver escutcheon. Black rubber WhiteLine buttpad.

Condition: Fine as partially refinished. Barrels retain 95 percent plus reblued finish. Bores showing light rings. Action with 50 percent re-casehardened colors. Sound wood showing wear to varnish and numerous light marks. Replaced fore-end serial numbered 202701.
