Louis Galanos was a volunteer race official at the 1970 12 Hours of Sebring. Steve McQueen was a competitor and ultimately Second Place getter in the event. As a racing enthusiast, amateur photographer and Steve McQueen fan it all came together for Louis during that happily fated weekend when he met his screen hero McQueen in the racing pits. Louis shares the pictures that Steve allowed him to take that weekend, along with his memories of the occasion.
